Mikio Igarashi was a super popular writer of four-frame comics, began to write the new work “BONO BONO” after taking rest for two years. It was a warming story of animals' life like a fable, having the deep philosophy. It was watched by people because it had the possibility of the new type of comic. The collaboration of lovely characters like a sea otter, etc. and a comic style called “the originator of healing”, the 30 books were released up to now as a result. This work telecasted as a TV animation in the latter half of 90's and the work animated to CG is to be screened in the festival. The character was reproduced in detail in CG version.

Profile | Born in 1955, Miyagi. He made his debut as a cartoonist when he was 24 years old. After “Nekuratopia”, “Sabaori Gekijo”, etc. as the gag of the absurd were released, “BONO BONO” began to be published serially. “BONO BONO” is currently popular among a lot of people. He got “The Japan CARTOONISTS ASSOCIATION” in 1983, “Kodansha Manga Award” in 1988, and “Shogakukan Manga Award” in 1998. A daily comic “Kyo no Okotoba” started to deliver on Keitai Manga Okoku” from January in 2009 |
