NOTES

This is a film based on the hit serial story with the same title in a NHK radio broadcast and its sequels were released later. This is the best slapstick comedy and its main characters are; Achataro, who is a good-natured manager of fruit a store in Osaka, his wife Ochie and their thirteen children. Besides Achako and Chieko Naniwa, Tamao Nakamura also appears in this film directed by Torajiro Saito, who is known as “a god of comedy.”
